CoD: Black Ops 6 And Warzone Patch Notes Detail Hit List Event And Rebirth Island's Return

As a seasoned Call of Duty veteran with countless hours spent in the virtual battlefields, this latest update has me absolutely thrilled! The return of Rebirth Island in Warzone is like a long-lost friend coming home, and the Hit List event adds an extra layer of excitement to my gaming experience.

On November 21, there’s a fresh update for both Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone. The latest patch includes additional information about the upcoming Hit List event, and it’s exciting to note that Rebirth Island has returned to Warzone following its brief comeback initially.

In the gaming world, the limited-time Call of Duty event called “Hit List” is now active in Black Ops 6 and Warzone. This exciting event presents players with a series of tasks to accomplish, which upon completion, will earn them fresh rewards. Among the rewards for completing the Hit List are the latest drill melee weapon from Season 1 and the new Shadow perk for multiplayer.

The update refreshes Black Ops 6’s multiplayer to bring back the popular 10v10 moshpit playlists for both core and Hardcore. Hideout, Extraction, and Protocol are now added to the map pool for 10v10 as well.

In the latest update for the game, developers have rectified a problem that used to make players move slower while reloading during a sprint on the Zombies side. Additionally, they’ve dealt with an issue that might have prevented the “Box Addict” Dark Ops challenge from functioning correctly.

Once more, Rebirth Island is back in Warzone. Initially introduced a week following Season 1’s debut, it was swiftly taken down due to technical problems related to the map itself. However, the latest updates have rectified these issues and the map is now playable, with enhanced lighting and sound effects designed to optimize gameplay.

In simpler terms, the developer expressed gratitude for the players’ understanding while they worked diligently to resolve important matters and enhance the game for optimal enjoyment by stating, “We needed extra time to fix crucial problems and boost the quality of the gameplay.

The update also includes XP balancing across various Warzone modes. This includes increased player XP in standard battle royale and Plunder mode, while increased weapon XP is adjusted for Plunder and Resurgence modes.

A significant update includes an enhancement (buff) to the widely used Stim Shot tactical gear. According to the release notes, the time duration for the Stim Shot’s speed boost has been extended from one second to three seconds.

The full patch notes for both Black Ops 6 and Warzone can be found below, as shared by Activision.

Just got word that the latest update for Black Ops 6 has dropped, and it looks like we’re getting those Legacy XP tokens back! On top of that, Activision just announced a sweet 30% XP boost in Warzone for anyone picking up Black Ops 6. Can’t wait to level up faster!

To ensure that the earning rates between various game modes are more balanced, we’ve fine-tuned both the experience points for players and weapons.

  • Stim Shot
    • The speed boost duration has been increased from 1 second to 3.

At the release of Warzone, we discovered a significant problem and acted quickly by temporarily decreasing the acceleration and duration of Stim Shots. Simultaneously, we were working on a fix. Our aim is to deliver a substantial speed enhancement with a defined upper limit, thus maintaining fair and consistent battles. Currently, Resolute and Stim Shot each offer a 15% speed increase, with their combined effect not exceeding 20%. This setup enables players to try out different combinations to achieve maximum effectiveness.

  • Deployable Box Interaction Speed
    • We’ve removed an unintentional delay that previously prevented players from interacting with the Armor/Munitions/Utility Box when initially deployed.

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed an issue on Area 99 that would cause players to hear Killstreaks from across the map.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause players to drop a weapon involuntarily while attempting to pick up a different weapon from the ground.
  • Fixed an issue that would prompt players to remove an Aftermarket Part from their weapon despite one not being currently equipped.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the STB 556 Assault Rifle body to disappear when equipping an underbarrel attachment.
