CNN reported that media mogul Ted Turner has died at the age of 87. While the exact cause of death hasn’t been released, he had previously announced in 2018 that he was living with Lewy body dementia.
Wolf Blitzer on CNN announced that Ted Turner passed away peacefully in his sleep, with his family by his side. CNN’s current CEO and Chairman, Mark Thompson, stated that Turner was a deeply dedicated and hands-on leader whose vision built the company. Thompson also described Turner as bold and unafraid, someone who consistently trusted his instincts.
