Cladun X3 receives a major update patch that adds more endgame dungeons

Nippon Ichi Software has rolled out an updated patch for the game Cladun X3, bumping its version to 1.03. This significant update introduces numerous challenging endgame dungeons with exceptionally tough difficulty levels. Notably, the developers mentioned that this is the final planned update for the game.

This significant update introduces challenging end-game dungeons, such as the formidable Megageon which is the toughest of them all. In addition, Nippon Ichi has incorporated an in-game purchase feature that boosts the strength of enemies beyond the Megageon. Successfully conquering these tough levels will yield new Artifacts, Magic Circles, and Equipment Titles as rewards.

The recently added features can be discovered further down. As of the latest news, Cladun X3 has been launched on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 in Japan since February 27 this year. However, an English version of the game is yet to be announced.

Megageon

In X3, we’ve introduced a challenging new dungeon and endgame content called Megageon. Unlike other dungeons that end on the 100th floor, Megageon continues looping from the 101st floor and beyond. Your progress will be tracked, and the highest floor you reach will be submitted to our leaderboard server.

New Dungeons

  • Further Dungeon: Clearing a certain 16th floor will unlock the Further Dungeon with a total of 16 floors. The content will range from LV500 to LV2000.
  • Additional Dungeons: There are many other additional dungeons besides the above Further Dungeon. One of them will have a super-difficult level even harder than LV9999.

Make Enemies Stronger

Completing both the main story of the game and conquering the 100th level of a random or predefined dungeon will grant access to a shop item. In this shop, you can spend 999,999 in-game currency to significantly boost the strength of all enemies outside Megageon. You have the option to reverse this enhancement for free, but if you choose to reactivate it later, you’ll need to pay the full amount again.

When activated, there’s a minimal probability of getting two of the newly introduced Super Limit Break Artifacts. Additionally, upgrade portals within Map Dungeons will facilitate quality upgrades for gear that bears a Title Rank of 21 or higher.

New Magic Circles

Five additional Magic Circles have been incorporated into the game, accessible once you meet the prerequisites in the Megageon, extra dungeons, or the ‘Strengthen Enemies’ feature.

New Artifacts

Five fresh Artifacts have been incorporated for Super Limit Breaks. You can acquire all these items in Megageon, and interestingly, two of them can be obtained even with the ‘Strengthen Enemies’ feature enabled.

New Equipment Titles

Added 29 super rare equipment titles that will only be dropped by the following strong monsters:

  • Around 2 of them will drop at high level ranges in regular Random and Map Dungeons
  • Around 10 of them will drop at LV9999 in Random and Map Dungeons with the Make Enemies Stronger option enabled
  • All 29 of them can drop at the Megageon, depending on the enemy’s strength values.
