Civilization VII gets its World Premiere at Gamescom 2024

On August 20, at 1:30 PM Pacific Time, the Firaxis Twitch channel will host a live stream titled “Civilization VII Gameplay Showcase.” For the next 20 minutes, you’ll get an exclusive sneak peek into the new features and advancements of Civilization VII, as we delve deep into these updates. This is your first chance to witness Civilization VII gameplay.
At Gamescom from August 21st through the 25th, fans are welcome to stop by our official Civilization VII exhibit, which will be found in Hall 6.
2K Games and Firaxis bares all at PAX at the end of August
After a week from Gamescom, the Civilization VII exhibit relocates to PAX in Seattle, WA, specifically at the Main Theater on the fifth floor of the Summit Building. Fans are invited to join the PAX Panel scheduled for August 30, at 11:00 AM Pacific Time.
Fans from all over the world can simultaneously watch the panel on the PAX Twitch Channel.
Civilization VII was first officially unveiled in June. Yet, whispers suggest that work on this game commenced as early as 2021. As of now, no specific launch date for the game has been disclosed, though Firaxis has confirmed a targeted release period in 2025.
