Cinetic Marketing Promotes Charlie Olsky, Lauren Schwartz, Emilie Spiegel to Senior Vice Presidents (EXCLUSIVE)

Cinetic Marketing has advanced three seasoned strategists – Charlie Olsky, Lauren Schwartz, and Emilie Spiegel – to the positions of Senior Vice Presidents.

The threesome, who were formerly vice presidents, will now be carrying out their duties in their new roles, collaborating extensively on all award-winning projects. The trio, consisting of Olsky, Schwartz, and Spiegel, will all report to Courtney Ott, head of Cinetic Marketing. In a statement, Ott expressed her enthusiasm about continuing to work with this talented team, who have significantly contributed to the company’s growth so far and will continue to help achieve the goal of supporting filmmakers. “We are fortunate to collaborate with some of the best partners in the industry, and I am thrilled that Charlie, Lauren, and Emilie will lead the company into the future,” Ott added.

Olsky is a seasoned film publicist and awards strategist with more than 17 years of experience, having shaped many successful award-winning campaigns over the past two decades. He has worked with studios like A24 and Searchlight, serving as one of the lead strategists for Oscar-winning films such as “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” “A Real Pain,” “The Zone of Interest,” “Poor Things” and documentaries like “Free Solo” and “Navalny.” Prior to Cinetic Marketing, Olsky held senior roles at Fox Searchlight and Oscilloscope Laboratories, starting his publicity career with Susan Norget Film Promotion.

Schwartz is an experienced publicist with a strong background in documentary and independent film. At Cinetic Marketing, she oversees documentary publicity and awards, having led campaigns for Oscar-winning films like “20 Days in Mariupol” and “No Other Land,” as well as “Beyond Utopia” and “Will and Harper.” Before joining Cinetic, Schwartz served as senior vice president of publicity and promotions at IFC Films/Sundance Selects. In addition to film, Schwartz is also active in political organizing, and she is a frequent presence on the festival circuit.

Spiegel is another seasoned publicist who started her career at Miramax Films. She has held positions at Film at Lincoln Center and Susan Norget Film Promotion as well. Over the past decade at Cinetic Marketing, she has worked with internationally acclaimed directors, including Brady Corbet (“The Brutalist”), Errol Morris (“Wormwood”), Charlotte Wells (“Aftersun”), Raoul Peck (“I Am Not Your Negro”) and Joachim Trier (“The Worst Person in the World”). At Cinetic Marketing, she manages operations at the Venice Film Festival.
