As a huge film fan, I was fascinated to hear Christopher Nolan talk about how Oppenheimer really paved the way for something special. He also shared his thoughts on why he feels this film is finally addressing a major missed opportunity in Hollywood – something a lot of us have been waiting for, honestly.
In a recent interview with Time magazine, director Christopher Nolan revealed he’s planning a movie based on The Odyssey. He explained that the success of his 2023 film, Oppenheimer, made this project possible. Nolan also noted that his adaptation will be the first major feature film to tell the story of The Odyssey, something he finds surprising given its place in history.
The Odyssey is slated to arrive in theaters on July 17.
