The upcoming American Psycho remake is a “bold choice” according to Christian Bale.
When asked by The Hollywood Reporter about potential young actors for the role of Patrick Bateman, Christian Bale said he’s considering all options, but recognizes the part would be difficult for anyone to play. Here’s what he had to say:
If anyone’s interested in taking on the project, go for it! I had a wonderful time making it with director Mary Harron years ago, and I have great memories of the whole experience. It’s a daring move for anyone to try and recreate it – I’m not sure if it’s a remake or what exactly, as I haven’t heard much about it. But I wish them all the best, because I admire courageous people.
