Choreographer Charm La’Donna Signs With WME (EXCLUSIVE)

As a film enthusiast with a penchant for appreciating the journey of creative minds, I am thrilled to witness the metamorphosis of Charm La’Donna from a renowned choreographer and dancer to a budding filmmaker. Her impressive resume, adorned with collaborations with musical powerhouses like Dua Lipa, Selena Gomez, and The Weeknd, paints a vibrant picture of her versatility and adaptability.

As a passionate cinephile, I’m thrilled to share that the multi-talented artist Charm La’Donna, known for her skills in choreography, dance, and creative direction, has joined forces with WME to boost her presence as a filmmaker, paving the way for even more captivating stories on the silver screen.

Last year, La’Donna was responsible for creating the dance routines in Dua Lipa’s music videos for “Dance the Night” and “Houdini.” Recently, she received an MTV Video Music Award for her work on “Houdini.” In 2019, she also won an award for her choreography in Rosalía and J Balvin’s “Con Altura” music video.

Besides working together during Lipa’s latest tour and performances at the Glastonbury Music Festival, La’Donna has also expressed admiration for her partner, stating, “The level of your commitment and talent is nothing short of inspiring.

Speaking to EbMaster, La’Donna expressed her enthusiasm about joining WME, a company that aligns with her dedication to growing her brand and fulfilling her artistic goals. She believes their knowledge will be crucial as she begins this next phase of her filmmaking journey.

In her transition into filmmaking, La’Donna has teamed up with prominent international brands such as Louis Vuitton during Fashion Week and Clinique for significant marketing initiatives.

As stated on her website, La’Donna initially ventured into choreography by accompanying Madonna on tour, followed by earning a degree in World Arts and Culture from UCLA.

La’Donna is an apprentice under the tutelage of Fatima Robinson, the choreographer behind last year’s “The Color Purple” and Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour worldwide.

As a movie enthusiast, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with some incredible talents like Selena Gomez, The Weeknd, Becky G, Meghan Trainor, and Shakira in the past. Now, I’m thrilled to announce that my work will be showcased in the highly anticipated musical “Atlantis,” directed by Pharrell Williams and Michel Gondry, slated for release in 2025. This film is an exciting journey into the summer of 1977, set in the Virginia Beach neighborhood, that’s inspired by Pharrell’s childhood memories of the Atlantis Apartments. Can’t wait to see it unfold!
