Chick-fil-A is experimenting with a new type of restaurant dedicated solely to beverages. Unlike typical Chick-fil-A locations, this spot won’t serve any food – no chicken, fries, or anything else to eat.

Chick-fil-A is launching a new brand called Daybright in the Atlanta area in 2025. Run by their Red Wagon Ventures group, Daybright will focus on drinks like coffee, smoothies, and juices, and will offer a food menu that’s still being developed. Unlike traditional Chick-fil-A restaurants, it won’t serve the chain’s usual menu items.

So, I heard that Daybright, Chick-fil-A’s new place, isn’t going to have the usual stuff like waffle fries or nuggets. They’re really trying to make it feel different from a regular Chick-fil-A, so they’re keeping the menus separate. It’s a bit weird, honestly, but I get they’re going for a different vibe.

A new lane for Chick-fil-A

Red Wagon Ventures started as a way to develop new ideas outside of the company’s core business. The name comes from founder Truett Cathy’s early days – he used a red wagon to deliver Coca-Cola around his neighborhood as a child.

But hey, at least some of their cool sodas are going to show up at regular McDonald’s locations, which is a win for us gamers who need a sugary boost!

Chick-fil-A and McDonald’s aren’t alone in creating separate, specialized restaurants. KFC, the well-known chicken chain, launched ‘Saucy by KFC’ in December 2024, a new concept centered around a variety of sauces designed to enhance their chicken.
