As an ardent fan of the One Chicago franchise, I am absolutely thrilled to witness the return of this spectacular crossover event after five long years! The intricate storylines, the captivating performances, and the unparalleled production values are what make these shows a must-watch for me.
NBC‘s One Chicago franchise has set its first crossover episodes in five years.
On January 29th, starting at 8 p.m., a three-part event will be broadcast. Unlike usual when “Chicago Med” starts off the network’s Wednesday shows, this time it will be preceded by “Chicago Fire”. At 9 p.m., “Chicago Med” will follow, and “Chicago P.D.” will air at 10 p.m. to conclude the event.
The tagline for this crossover goes like this: “In Chicago, a massive gas explosion in a skyscraper prompts an immediate response from emergency services as they work tirelessly to rescue hundreds. But it’s the hidden danger below ground that propels our heroes into a desperate mission to save 40 individuals trapped underground, among them two of their own colleagues.
The previous instance when three TV series produced by Dick Wolf coincided was back in October 2019. These specific episodes were titled “Infection” and focused on a deadly flesh-eating illness that ravaged the city of Chicago.
Anastasia Puglisi, executive vice president at Wolf Entertainment and co-executive producer of all three series, stated that assembling a three-hour movie is an extremely daring undertaking. It necessitates perfect synchronization among our writers, actors, crews, producers, and even the city of Chicago. We’re excited to have top-tier professionals across all departments to tackle this task, strengthen the #OneChicago identity, and offer our audience a distinct and captivating viewing experience.
The principal actors of “Chicago Med” encompass S. Epatha Merkerson, Oliver Platt, Steven Weber, Marlyne Barrett, Jessy Schram, Luke Mitchell, Sarah Ramos, and Darren Barnet. Joining them as executive producers are Wolf, along with Allen MacDonald, Stephen Hootstein, and Peter Jankowski. (or) The cast members of “Chicago Med” include S.
