Chelsea Peretti Set to Guest Star on Season 2 of Daisy May Cooper’s ‘Am I Being Unreasonable?’ (EXCLUSIVE)

As a fan of quirky British comedies, I am absolutely thrilled about the second season of “Am I Being Unreasonable?”! With the likes of Chelsea Peretti and other talented actors joining Daisy May Cooper’s brilliant cast, I can hardly wait to see what twisted turns this comedy will take.

Chelsea Peretti joins an array of notable guest performers set for Season 2 of Daisy May Cooper’s popular BBC sitcom, “Am I Being Unreasonable?” (paraphrased)

Besides the actor from “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” other notable stars joining us are Tom Davis (“Wonka”), Denise Black (“Queer as Folk”), Jamali Maddix (“Never Mind the Buzzcocks”), British artist Kojey Radical, and Charlie Cooper, who starred with him in “This Country” and is also his real-life brother.

According to the synopsis, Season 2 will begin where Season 1 left off – “mid panic attack.”

Did Nic manage to escape punishment for murder? It’s quite plausible. Has she been passing her questionable behavior onto her son Ollie? Kicked out of their home due to a romantic misunderstanding with her brother, Nic finds herself living in a caravan with her less-than-reliable friend Jen. Her husband Dan has taken up rollerblading as a means to cope with his midlife crisis. Rejected by the school community and portrayed as a witch during the school play, Nic is encountering strange visions. However, it’s also possible that someone is trying to deceive her.

Lenny Rush, known for his role in “Doctor Who”, joins the cast as Nic’s son Ollie, accompanied by Dustin Demri-Burns from “Slow Horses”, David Fynn from “Daddy Issues”, Juliet Cowan from “Back to Life”, Phil Dunning from “Smoggie Queens”, Georgie Glenn from “Call the Midwife”, Beatie Edney from “Poldark”, Amanda Wilkin from “The Split”, Helen Ann Bauer from “Live at the Apollo”, Marek Larwood from “We Are Klang”, and Karla Crome from “Under the Dome”.

In the first season, if you felt that Lenny Rush’s BAFTA-winning performance overshadowed mine, brace yourself for Season 2 because his performance will completely outshine mine, leaving you questioning if I was even part of the show at all… and I must admit, it left me feeling quite livid.

Selin Hizli expressed: “May fortune favor the BBC and all those involved for granting us another intriguing twist in this story that can be both grim and amusing, yet consistently absurd. It’s been a pleasure and an honor to revisit the realm of ‘AIBU’, and we hope everyone enjoys watching it as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Created by Cooper and Selin Hizli, ‘Am I Being Unreasonable?’ is a production of Boffola Pictures, which has a minority stake held by BBC Studios. This series is shot in Bristol and the surrounding areas.

The BBC comedy series was commissioned by Jon Petrie, with Pippa Brown serving as its producer. Emily McDonald is in charge of directing, and the executive producers are Shane Allen, Daisy May Cooper, Selin Hizli, and Jack Thorne.

The commissioning editor for the BBC is head of comedy Tanya Qureshi.

2025 marks the comeback of Season 2, with British viewers enjoying it on BBC. For our friends down under in Australia, SBS has got you covered, while TVNZ is where you’ll find it in New Zealand.

Season 1 was available in the U.S. on Hulu. BBC Studios are selling the series internationally.
