Check Out The First Berserker: Khazan’s Skalpel Boss As Part Of Our Exclusive Fatal Encounters Reveals

Summary

  • Skalpel is a chaos-corrupted commander who wields a murderous general’s coffin on his back.
  • While that looks to weigh him down, he’s a deceptively agile opponent.
  • True to his lust for blood, many of his attacks unleash gore upon the arena, like an AOE that summons a claret of spikes.

It’s day five of top-mob.com‘s Boss Week, and we have another exclusive reveal from The First Berserker: Khazan to share with you in the run-up to its launch.

After the presentation of Trokka, an unusual wizard’s apprentice who uses a pink jellyfish umbrella, we now introduce Skalpel. This character, corrupted by chaos, carries the coffin of a general known for murder on his back, which he can also use to strike us.

In the exclusive debut trailer below, you’ll hear the voice of none other than Ben Starr, narrating the action you witness.

Here’s Your First Look At Skalpel, A New Boss In The First Berserker: Khazan

During the battle, strange, spider-like appendages emerge from the coffin, along with floating limbs, yet we can’t tell exactly what’s within; however, it’s clear that the vengeful spirit of the ruthless general persists in some form.

You can read Skalpel’s full description below:

The surgeon, Skalpel, bears the heavy coffin of a ruthless general, its contents remaining a mystery. Skalpel was a man known for his religious devotion and unwavering loyalty, yet he harbored an innate attraction to violence and carnage. His appetite for blood became insatiable, leading him to seek more and more of it.

In this version, I’ve aimed to maintain the original meaning while using simpler, more natural language that flows better.

Despite the bulky coffin on Skalpel’s back, don’t underestimate him; he remains nimble and swift in combat, as he dashes toward the player with incredible speed, launching a rapid series of attacks.

Maintaining a close proximity to dodge every hit could lead to being ensnared in Skalpel’s area of effect attack. As shown in the preview, Skalpel is capable of leaping into the air, tearing up bloody spikes from the ground to impale his enemies. However, there seems to be a moment when the coffin breaks apart, but whether this is a positive development remains to be seen.

On March 27th, The First Berserker will be released, and we’ll reveal some additional bosses this weekend, so keep an eye out for updates!
