From a modest start on TikTok, Charlie D’Amelio will transition to the grand stage of Broadway by October.
On September 30th, it became known that Charli D’Amelio is set to make her first appearance on Broadway in the show & Juliet. This TikTok sensation, who rose to fame by sharing popular dance clips, will take on the character Charmian, a part with a significant focus on dance within the musical jukebox production.
Unlike Romeo and Juliet, where a tragic romance unfolded due to their untimely deaths, & Juliet explores an alternate storyline by imagining what could have transpired had Juliet not taken her own life after Romeo’s demise.
Starting from October 29, 2024, our musical production will take center stage at the Sondheim Theatre in New York City and will run until January 19, 2025.
Following the announcement of her role, D’Amelio, aged 20, expressed her joy about being part of the Broadway cast. “I’m absolutely thrilled to let you know that I’ll be performing with the cast of & Juliet on Broadway!” she shared on Instagram.

Luckily for me, I managed to clinch the title in Season 31 of Dancing with the Stars. This stage performance experience should make it a breeze for me to step right into my upcoming roles as a gamer.
