Chargers vs. Patriots Wild Card Results According to Madden 26

Here are the results of the Los Angeles Chargers versus New England Patriots Wild Card Round game, as simulated in Madden 26. The NFL Playoffs are starting this weekend, with twelve teams competing for a chance to reach the Super Bowl. Although the Patriots finished the season with a strong 14-3 record, they’ve only won two out of four games against teams that made the playoffs. The Chargers, on the other hand, ended the season with two losses. Now, only one team will move on to the next round.

Chargers vs. Patriots Wild Card Results According to Madden 26

The latest edition of Madden NFL predicts the Los Angeles Chargers will win against the New England Patriots in the Wild Card Round. The game is projected to go into overtime, with the Chargers ultimately winning 30-23.

#7 LAC 3 7 6 7 7 30
#2 NE 3 10 0 10 0 23

The game was a close one, with both teams having moments of strength, but neither truly controlling the play. After a 3-3 tie at the end of the first quarter, the Patriots scored a touchdown thanks to a pass from Drake Maye to DeMario Douglas. They then added another field goal, increasing their lead to 13-3.

The Patriots, despite having an early advantage, couldn’t maintain their momentum on offense. The Chargers took advantage, scoring 13 straight points with a touchdown catch by Quentin Johnston and two field goals from Cameron Dicker, giving them a 16-13 lead.

The Patriots regained the lead, scoring 10 points without a response from their opponents. Rhamondre Stevenson’s touchdown run increased their lead to 20-16, and a subsequent field goal extended it to seven points, though still with 1:55 remaining in the game.

Man, the Chargers really turned it on late in the game! Justin Herbert hit Keenan Allen for a touchdown with only 15 seconds left on the clock, which was insane. Then, in overtime, they connected again for another TD, putting us up 30-23. But it wasn’t over yet, the Patriots still had a shot to come back.

During the Patriots’ last attempt to score, Maye couldn’t break through the Chargers’ strong defense. After failing to complete a pass on fourth down, the Chargers regained possession and then ran out the clock, ending the game and eliminating the Patriots.

The Chargers won and are moving on to the next round of the playoffs. Being the seventh seed, they’ll have a tough road with a lot of travel if they want to reach the Super Bowl. It remains to be seen if they can pull it off this weekend.

That concludes our simulation of the Chargers versus Patriots Wild Card game in Madden 26. Thanks for watching, and we’ll have more game simulations for you soon!

We’re planning improvements to our game simulations. Currently, changes we make to settings like CPU and player skill levels don’t seem to affect games played between two computer-controlled opponents. However, we’re still committed to making these simulations better.
