As a seasoned TV enthusiast who has witnessed the rise and fall of countless shows, I must say that the casting for “DMV” at CBS is nothing short of impressive! The addition of Alex Tarrant, Tony Cavalero, and Gigi Zumbado to an already stellar lineup featuring Tim Meadows, Harriet Dyer, and Molly Kearney has certainly piqued my interest.

The CBS comedy pilot “DMV” is adding three new cast members.

It’s been made known that Alex Tarrant, Tony Cavalero, and Gigi Zumbado are now part of the main cast for the single-camera pilot show. They will share screen time with the already confirmed actors Tim Meadows, Harriet Dyer, and Molly Kearney.

Back in August, the DMV was selected for a trial run at CBS. This series is adapted from a short story by Katherine Heiny. Essentially, it revolves around a setting that most people dislike visiting: the Department of Motor Vehicles. The show features a group of eccentric and endearing characters who work there, earning minimum wage and dealing with customers who are already aggravated before they even enter the building. Fortunately, they have each other.

Tarrant will compensate Noa, who is often referred to as an enchanting, captivating, radiant young man. It appears that Noa has more significant opportunities ahead of him than working at the Department of Motor Vehicles. He excels in everything he does and rarely finds himself in uncomfortable predicaments. A skilled surfer, he embodies the ‘Pura Vida’ lifestyle and takes minor problems in stride.

As a passionate film enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be revisiting CBS, having previously graced their screens with my presence in “NCIS: Hawai’i.” More recently, you might have spotted me in “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” on Amazon, portraying Valandil. My small screen journey also includes stints on “Vegas,” “Shortland Street,” and “800 Words.” I can’t wait to bring my craft back to CBS!

Alex Tarrant, Tony Cavalero, and Gigi Zumbago have secured their roles as “Noa”, “Vic”, and “Jocelyn” respectively in the main cast of the show.

As a passionate movie buff, I’m excited to share that I, Cavalero, will be portraying the character Vic in an upcoming film. This fellow, you see, had quite the varied career before landing his current role at the DMV. Before that, he was a bouncer, a security guard, a head chef, and now, it seems, he’s found his true calling as a driving examiner.

Actor Danny McBride is primarily recognized for his performance in the HBO comedy series “The Righteous Gemstones.” In addition to this, he has made appearances on shows such as “The Conners” and “Miracle Workers,” and helmed the Nickelodeon series “School of Rock.” He also portrayed Ozzy Osbourne in the Netflix film “The Dirt.

He is repped by Gersh, Nicole Garcia Management, and Lichter Grossman.

Zumbado is set to portray the character Ceci, who is known for being feisty, strong-willed, and quick-tempered. This no-nonsense, time-conscious Ceci doesn’t tolerate foolishness from anyone. She’s short-tempered, often critical, and believes she could handle any task more efficiently than the person assigned to it.

Zumbado’s latest television appearances have been on shows like “Doctor Odyssey,” “The Rookie,” its spin-off “The Rookie: Feds,” “Bridge and Tunnel,” and Fox’s “Fantasy Island.” Coming up, you can see her in the Spyglass film “Heart Eyes” and the action-comedy “Bride Hard.

She is repped by Innovative Artists, Industry Entertainment, and Del Shaw Moonves

The series “DMV” is created by writer and producer Dana Klein, and is also overseen by Aaron Kaplan, Wendi Trilling, and Robyn Meisinger as executive producers. Trent O’Donnell will not only direct but also serve as an executive producer for the pilot episode. CBS Studios will be responsible for its production.
