The remastered version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion became available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC through Steam and the Microsoft Store on April 22, 2025.

In the final part of his article, Jason Schreier explains that Obsidian Entertainment intends to balance working on large-scale projects with smaller ones. This includes entirely new games, as well as updates and expansions for both The Outer Worlds 2 and Grounded 2. While they aren’t planning a third Outer Worlds game, they do intend to continue developing games set in the Avowed universe.

In Skyrim, players can follow many different questlines related to various groups. The main story and the Civil War are the most important, as the Civil War lets you choose a side – either the Imperial Legion or the Stormcloaks – and decide who rules Skyrim. This choice not only changes things within the game, but could also have a lasting impact on the overall story of The Elder Scrolls series. Since The Elder Scrolls 6 hasn’t been announced yet, it’s unknown if Bethesda will acknowledge the outcome of the Civil War in the next game.

The newest update to Monster Hunter Wilds has improved the game’s performance, addressing a long-standing request from players. As a result, reviews on Steam are starting to become more positive, potentially shifting the game’s overall rating from mixed to favorable, as noted by Reddit user Archaeus20.

The movie premiered on Wednesday, January 28th, at the TCL Chinese Theatre. Reports from the red carpet event indicate the atmosphere matched the film’s dark and intense mood. They had to cancel a major, unannounced game project, which created a demoralizing atmosphere. One quality assurance tester described it as working “among a graveyard.” The remaining, smaller development team will now focus on continuing to support The Elder Scrolls Online.

According to a recent financial report for the third quarter of 2025, the game has sold over 11 million copies. It achieved this milestone in approximately 11 months, which is similar to the sales rate of the franchise’s most popular title, Monster Hunter World.
