Others radically reimagine Shelley’s original concept, creating stories that are almost unrecognisable. Despite their differences, all these films capture the spirit of Frankenstein in unique and compelling ways.

Through exclusive footage, personal interviews with the actors, and beautiful concept art, the series highlights the innovative technology and visual effects Cameron and his team developed, including groundbreaking underwater performance capture.

Before the release of Now You See Me: Now You Don’t in 2025, I spoke with Jesse Eisenberg and Isla Fisher about revisiting their characters after a long break. I asked Eisenberg, known for A Real Pain, how difficult it was to relearn the magic tricks, wondering if it came back easily. Here’s what he said:

The way parents demand obedience, and the anger that builds up in kids because of it, that’s what really fuels this evil. It’s like that friction is exactly what It needs to thrive – it’s genuinely unsettling.

The show’s cancellation comes after Paramount, MTV’s parent company, was sold to Skydance and Larry Ellison on August 7th. Since the sale, Ellison appointed Bari Weiss to lead CBS News, laid off around 2,000 employees, and now ended a long-running MTV staple. According to Variety, the new owners want MTV to return to its roots with more innovative and diverse programming. Documents related to the show’s production company, Superjacket, revealed that Rob Dyrdek’s contract was set to increase from $32 million to $45 million by 2029. However, the shift in strategy also appears to prioritize lower production costs.

Frustration with Julia has been building for a while, even before her recent attempt to create drama by revealing a past relationship with Adriana de Moura. A major complaint now centers on her wife, Martina Navratilova, and some viewers are calling for Julia to be fired because of Martina’s controversial views on transgender athletes and surrogacy – views that even Andy Cohen criticized as misinformed. While it’s understandable that people might dislike Martina’s opinions, punishing Julia for the actions of her spouse could lead to many cast members losing their jobs.

It’ll be nice to see the former Nickelodeon star go back to her comedy roots in Focker In-Law. Based on the Instagram photos she posted of their filming wrap-up, it looks like she had a great time with the fourth movie’s sensational cast:

I was wrong about how scary this movie would be! Something – maybe the dangerous situations the kids faced, the frightening beginning, or even the bats – really got to my children. They were definitely shaken up while watching it on Paramount+, though they didn’t want to stop. They’ve been a little different ever since, after seeing that group of characters battle those classic monsters.

Despite initial speculation, the producer of Predator: Badlands, Ben Glass, has stated that a Xenomorph won’t appear in the movie. However, the film still shares a connection with the Alien franchise beyond the previously established link to Ridley Scott’s 1986 sequel.
