There’s speculation that Daniel Day-Lewis might respond to comments made by his former co-star, Brian Cox. Cox has criticized Jeremy Strong’s acting style, calling it intensely irritating and comparing him to Day-Lewis. He’s driven to create something – anything – and while he has some ideas, he’s more focused on the act of filmmaking itself than on the final product, thanks to his complex theories about cinema.
