While many great Westerns from this century eventually find their audience, some exceptional shows still don’t get the attention they deserve. A particularly overlooked example is a fantastic Netflix series from 2017 that truly delivered for Western fans – and exceeded expectations.

On the December 9th episode of Today, Hager happily announced she’s found someone special and will be starting a new chapter in January. She described the person as a well-known and talented broadcaster, but emphasized that what truly matters is how well they embody the spirit of the show.

Honestly, I think this show has finally hit its stride because it’s stopped pretending anyone but Carrington is the main character. I knew from the beginning she was the one to watch, and now the show finally agrees, centering the finale around her story. Before we even get to her career moves, there’s a hilarious scene where Sebastian asks about her love life. He imagines her with a Hugh Grant or Hugh Laurie type, and her response? Gold. She deadpans that “people named Hugh are, 90 percent of the time, swishy queens.” Seriously, that line is brilliant and deserves to be replayed endlessly. Then, she casually drops that her current crush, Chase Munroe, reminds her of her first crush: Jesus Christ. And then… the kicker. She admits, “I used to rub one out to Jesus. Sunday school was my steam room.” That’s when it clicked – that’s why this show went from good to absolutely phenomenal. Five stars, all the way!

It’s been almost three years since Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm, revealed that Daisy Ridley would reprise her role as Rey in a new Star Wars film directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. Despite the initial announcement, the movie hasn’t moved forward, and several different writers have worked on the screenplay.

Following weeks of interest from both Netflix and Paramount in acquiring Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), Netflix was recently announced as the winning bidder. However, Paramount hasn’t given up and has now launched a hostile takeover attempt to add WBD’s properties to its existing media businesses.

The ride itself will stay the same, but the video you see will be updated. Instead of showing places around the world, it will focus entirely on the United States. The new video will showcase the beauty and variety of America, highlighting its diverse landscapes and people, and featuring stunning views of more than a dozen cities and natural wonders.

The movie, which brought the popular team together in a shared universe, received 4.9 million views in the U.S. during its first five days on the streaming service. According to Nielsen, this is the lowest debut for any major Marvel movie released in theaters and then streamed so far.

While the first four episodes don’t reveal everything about Vecna’s plan for season 5, Will’s developing abilities, or how Kali—Eleven’s sister—fits into the story, they do bridge the gap between seasons 4 and 5 and build towards a thrilling conclusion, and that’s the most important thing.

An email was sent to employees saying that the Town Hall meeting had been postponed. It thanked everyone who submitted questions and stated it would be rescheduled for a later date.
