Now, Muschietti is involved as an executive producer in a new prequel series set to premiere on October 26, 2025.

AMC Theaters is showing a double feature of *Prey* and *Predator: Badlands* on November 5, 2025. The movies will play back-to-back for a total runtime of 3 hours and 30 minutes, just before advance screenings of *Predator: Badlands* start on November 6th, ahead of its official release on November 7th. This is the first time *Prey* will be widely released in movie theaters. Currently, Fandango and other major theater chains aren’t listing this double feature.
While many people think of science fiction as fun and optimistic, a lot of sci-fi stories actually explore the potential downsides of progress and technology. This leads to a large number of dark and gritty sci-fi anime. These shows are often unsettling, but also make you think, and some of the most highly-regarded anime series fall into this category – truly earning the title of masterpieces.
I’ve noticed a lot of longtime *Dragon Ball Z* fans really dislike *Dragon Ball Super*, and honestly, I can see why. The storylines often feel rushed and don’t really go anywhere, and a lot of the characters just aren’t as interesting or well-developed as the ones we grew to love. Plus, the fights, while flashy, don’t quite hit the same emotional or strategic highs as those in the original series. It just doesn’t capture the magic that made *DBZ* so special. If you don’t enjoy it, that’s perfectly okay – it’s a valid opinion.

Intended to recapture the spirit of the original *Halloween*, it instead became as convoluted as its predecessors, but far less compelling. Ultimately, what was hoped to be a triumphant revival has become a major letdown for fans of horror and slasher films alike.
