Chris Evans is famous for playing Captain America in several of the most popular Marvel movies. Dwayne Johnson, meanwhile, recently starred as Black Adam in a leading role for DC. Reports suggest Evans will reprise his role as Steve Rogers in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, but Johnson’s future with DC films appears uncertain.
It’s not uncommon for the first episode of a TV show, called the pilot, to be reworked before viewers see it. Pilots often undergo changes for different reasons. Sometimes creators need to refine characters or storylines, replace actors, or simply improve the overall quality of the episode before it airs.
A preview of the new DC comic Batman/Static: Beyond #1 (from Evan Narcisse, Nikolas Draper-Ivey, Wil Quintana, and Wes Abbott) shows Static taking the lead as the DC Universe enters a new phase. Earth has been considered for inclusion in The Cooperative, a massive intergalactic alliance. However, joining isn’t automatic. Static, along with other powerful heroes, must demonstrate why Earth deserves a place among them, and another of Milestone’s iconic heroes is fighting alongside him.
It’s so frustrating to watch Savannah try to shake things up, because everyone else is just playing the same old boring game! We saw this last season with Kamilla – she knew Eva and Joe were running things and tried to get people to target them, but nobody would listen. I think it was because she was also working with Kyle, who ended up winning. They talked about making a move every week, but it was all just filler – a way to fill up the hour without actually changing anything. It’s like they’re stuck in a rut!
Elizabeth Olsen recently told Inverse she hadn’t heard about Paul Bettany’s new series, VisionQuest, until they talked about it just recently. She said he’s very proud of the show, and it seems like a perfect addition to his work on ‘Agatha All Along,’ ‘VisionQuest,’ and ‘WandaVision.’ She’s looking forward to seeing it.
The upcoming Harry Potter TV series has sparked discussion among fans, including the director of the first two films, Chris Columbus, regarding how closely it resembles the original movies. Recent photos shared by the Wizarding World Direct X account show a scene that will be very familiar to viewers: Harry’s first flying lesson, where he flies after Neville Longbottom’s Rememberall, which Draco Malfoy throws. The photos also offer a first look at the actors playing Neville and Draco, and a preview of the new Hogwarts uniforms.
After fading away following Thanos’ snap at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, Captain Marvel was called upon by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) at a crucial moment during the massive battle against Thanos and his army. She immediately made an impact, easily destroying one of Thanos’ ships as it attacked the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and all their allies.
Though his character, Billy Baker, died in a season 5 episode of the show, and even appeared briefly in a dream sequence, the series hasn’t felt the same since. Now, the actor known for How Stella Got Her Groove Back is taking on a new role and working with a director he’s collaborated with before.
It’s unusual because CBS usually airs Big Brother when NBC is showing the Winter Olympics. However, we haven’t heard anything about a new Big Brother spinoff coming to CBS or Paramount+, but I’m still optimistic that one might be announced soon, for reasons I’ll explain.
Mark Harmon will return to the NCIS universe for the NCIS: Origins prequel event, but currently, his appearance is limited to that show. He’s also narrating the series, much like Jim Parsons did on Young Sheldon. This marks the first time he’ll be seen on screen as part of this return, as previously he only provided voice-over work.
