Paradise Alex’s Blucifer Horse & Denver Airport Location Reveal a Season 3 Twist

Throughout the second season of Hulu’s post-apocalyptic series, fans have debated the true nature of Alex – is Alex a person, or a machine? The season finale revealed the answer: Alex isn’t human, and has been secretly located in a different underground bunker all along, ultimately posing a threat to the world rather than a savior.

The Blue Trail Review: Brazil’s Light Sci-Fi Comedy Coasts On Beautiful Vistas & Its Star’s Brilliance

The concept is universally agreeable – it aims to avoid upsetting anyone – but it’s surprisingly uncommon to see it actually happen. Often, those most in need receive empty promises rather than real support, at least in many nations. In his film, Brazilian director Gabriel Mascaro explores a world where a person’s worth is measured solely by their ability to work, highlighting how deeply corrupted society has become.

9 New Comedy Specials You Should Definitely Watch (When You Have a Moment)

It used to be that comedy fans might watch a few stand-up specials each year. Now, with so many options on streaming services – everything from established stars to up-and-coming performers – it’s much harder to find the good ones. Since relying on algorithms isn’t always the best approach, we’re here to help. We recommend the specials that are truly worth watching – the ones that are excellent, unique, or push the boundaries, even if they don’t always succeed perfectly. Occasionally, we’ll also discuss specials that have noticeable problems, especially if those issues raise interesting points about comedy itself. Whether you want to watch a few specials a year or many more, we aim to highlight the best of the bunch and separate the truly worthwhile from the rest.

Paradise Recap: The Other Bunker

Season two doesn’t exactly deliver satisfying answers. While we get a few, they aren’t particularly thrilling – the biggest reveal might just be that there are two Arby’s in the bunker! Instead of providing concrete answers, the season largely focuses on setting up the story for season three. We do learn what Alex (or A.L.3.X) actually is. The episode flashes back nine years, showing how Link (who, by the way, is actually named Dylan, but I’ll keep calling him Link for clarity) first met Henry Miller at Caltech. While Henry lectures on complex topics like quantum-error correction, Link gets frustrated with the theoretical discussions and wants to build something. Henry initially dismisses the teenage Link, but Link then presents a fully functional, AI-controlled quantum computer he built himself. Henry immediately cancels class – this technology is groundbreaking! Even though terms like “optical tweezers” are a bit overwhelming, two of the computer’s capabilities stand out: it learns from previous attempts and can predict future failures in a matter of microseconds.
