The movie centers on Millie (Sweeney), a new housekeeper working in a lovely suburban home, and the psychological torment she endures at the hands of the homeowner, Nina (Seyfried). In one scene, Nina explodes, shouting “Billie threw away my PTA notes!” and throwing everything from the refrigerator onto the floor. She then quickly composes herself, cuddling with her husband while issuing a chilling warning to Millie: “You need to be more careful next time. You’ve ruined my entire day.”

Hulk’s tendency to lose control – whether it’s accidentally hurting allies during a fight or reacting explosively when upset – has often made those around him as much of a danger as his enemies. Throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Hulk’s immense power has repeatedly put his friends and family in harm’s way, sometimes through simple mishaps and other times in massive, city-threatening fights.

The acting was solid throughout, and I especially enjoyed the post-credits scene in The Fantastic Four: First Steps – it cleverly hinted at the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday and introduced Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom. The 2025 movie had a compelling story, impressive special effects, and a unique retro-futuristic aesthetic. However, Marvel fell short in one particular area.

Many people haven’t heard of the movie No Sleep ‘Til Christmas. It first appeared on Freeform, a Disney channel, and wasn’t widely seen for years. Although available on Disney+ in certain regions, it’s only now gaining attention thanks to its recent addition to Netflix, just before the platform releases its new holiday films. However, many viewers actually dislike it, with some even jokingly saying it’s “ruined Christmas.” They clearly missed the memorable scene of a snowman dressed as a stripper from last year’s version.

During the yearly shareholder meeting on November 20, 2025, two influential groups that advise investors—Glass Lewis and Institutional Shareholder Services—are recommending that shareholders vote against a leading executive at Cracker Barrel. Interestingly, the call for a vote isn’t directed at CEO Julie Felss Masino, who faced most of the blame for the company’s recent rebranding effort.

Jason Momoa, fresh off his lead role in the miniseries Chief of War, is set to star in a new Apple TV+ series called Nomad. The show comes from Kurt Sutter and Chris Collins, who previously worked together on Sons of Anarchy, The Wire, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and The Man in the High Castle. Collins also helped write John Wick: Chapter 3, demonstrating his skill with both epic stories and thrilling action.

This new Western series on Netflix features a fantastic supporting cast and realistically depicts the difficult life on the American frontier in the 1800s – it’s likely to be a hit with viewers who enjoy shows like Yellowstone. Beyond the interesting story and characters, it’s also important to mention that Kurt Sutter unexpectedly left the production.

Fans were very upset when The Walking Dead killed off Carl, and the show didn’t adequately fill the void his character left. Similarly, Glenn’s death was highly controversial, and even now, people disagree about whether it was a good choice – but such a shocking departure was bound to cause a strong reaction.

To be honest, before 2022’s Prey, I wasn’t a huge Predator devotee. I enjoyed the films, sure, but I wouldn’t have called myself a dedicated fan. But Prey really grabbed me, and now, having just finished Predator: Badlands, I’m officially hooked – I loved it almost as much as Prey! It’s actually made me rethink what I want to see in a future Predator movie.

Despite a relatively quiet year for official announcements from DC and Marvel, the movies we did get were excellent. We saw a strong and diverse range of films, including James Gunn’s take on Superman, a promising Fantastic Four reboot, a new Captain America with a fresh lead actor, the edgy Thunderbolts team-up, and a surprising animated superhero hit that became the year’s biggest blockbuster, earning over $2 billion.
