I was talking to the actor about the first season of his new show, and he told me a funny story about the first time someone he knew realized he strongly resembled Sam Heughan. Viewers had definitely commented on the similarity between him and the actor who plays his son in *Outlander*, but he wondered if anyone in his personal life had noticed before he was cast in *Blood of My Blood*. Trump also urged NBC to cancel shows hosted by Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers, labeling them “total losers” with “horrible” ratings. MSNBC’s Chris Hayes strongly criticized the move, calling it an unprecedented attack on free speech. Meanwhile, figures like Ben Stiller, Senator Adam Schiff, and Governor Gavin Newsom voiced their disapproval of both the comments that led to the cancellation and ABC’s decision to take Kimmel off the air.
