Peacemaker Season 2 Finale Reveals if Agent Kline Dies
Here’s what happened in the Peacemaker Season 2 finale.
Here’s what happened in the Peacemaker Season 2 finale.
The season finale of *Peacemaker* resolved the situation with the 11th Street Kids by having them use Vigilante’s money to form a new group called Checkmate. James Gunn has hinted that Checkmate will be significant in the upcoming DC Universe, and its connections to the DC Comics source material suggest it will have a major role.
Yes, Tron: Ares does have a mid-credit scene.
Episode 4 of *Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test* saw the departure of its most well-known contestant, Jussie Smollett. Many were surprised to see him on TV again, especially on Fox. His elimination was particularly emotional, and I didn’t anticipate such a strong reaction.
Rick Flag Sr. suggested to the Secretary of Defense that they turn Salvation into a prison specifically for metahumans, arguing that existing facilities like Arkham and Belle Reve couldn’t hold supervillains anymore. Though the Secretary was unsure, the season finale of *Peacemaker* showed Rick Flag Sr. kidnapping Christopher Smith (Peacemaker) and imprisoning him in Salvation as a test subject – the first “volunteer” to experience the facility’s effects. This is all part of Flag Sr.’s plan to get revenge on Peacemaker for killing his son, Rick Flag Jr., in *The Suicide Squad*.
The show *9-1-1* is back for the 2025 season, and while it was sad to see Peter Krause’s character, Bobby Nash, gone, the show paid tribute to him throughout the ninth season. There was also a fun *Star Trek* reference, and the season promises to be full of excitement for viewers.
Andy directly asks Adriana if she and Julia had sex, and her response – “I don’t have a dick” – is shockingly evasive, reminiscent of Bill Clinton’s famous denial. The awkward silence that follows speaks volumes. Andy points out that sex doesn’t require a penis, but Adriana weakly replies, “Not really.” This is baffling – countless sexual acts don’t involve penetration. It seems Adriana has a very limited definition of sex; if she received incredible oral sex, would she deny it was sex? If not, she desperately needs to expand her understanding of pleasure. Later, when Stephanie suggests they could have experimented with a position called ‘scissoring,’ Adriana insists she hasn’t done that with anyone either.
For fans of *Peacemaker*, the season finale is now available, with Season 2 set to premiere in 2025. Last month’s episodes ended with Christopher Smith (Peacemaker) and his team – Emilia Harcourt, Leota Adebayo, John Economos, Adrian Chase, and Judomaster – returning from their mission to Earth-X. Peacemaker turned himself and the powerful Quantum Unfolding Chamber over to A.R.G.U.S., but it looks like his alternate-reality counterpart, Keith Smith, is about to become a major threat.
Games like *Final Fantasy* and *Dragon Quest* are incredibly well-known, but one of the most important and impactful Japanese role-playing games actually comes from a different series. *Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light*, released over thirty-five years ago in 1990, remains a fantastic game worth playing even now.
It’s frustrating because both Tamra and Gretchen keep accusing each other of the exact same behavior. Tamra meeting with Katie, who we haven’t seen in a while, was a letdown – it didn’t reveal anything new, and Katie just repeated old arguments. The irony is that Tamra was trying to find dirt on Gretchen through one of her rivals, which is precisely what she criticizes Gretchen for doing. When Gretchen is confronted about a negative comment she made about Tamra, she immediately searches for something similar Tamra said about her. Emily points out that Tamra always retaliates in kind. It’s a pointless cycle – they both believe they’re justified in speaking badly about each other because the other person did first, and it’s incredibly tiring to watch. It doesn’t seem like this conflict will ever be resolved.
