Many older DC TV shows that fans would love to see return are currently available to watch online or buy. Even though Warner Bros. recently changed direction with its DC Universe plans, there’s still a lot of classic DC programming from years ago that people are hoping will be updated for today’s audiences. These series didn’t get much attention when they first aired, or were overshadowed by bigger hits, but they’ve continued to resonate with viewers long after they ended.

Even if a character first appears in an animated MCU project, they might not yet be part of the main live-action story – where the biggest events and most popular crossovers happen. These animated appearances are helpful, though, because they introduce the character to audiences and build excitement for when they eventually appear in a live-action film or series.

As a huge fan of Chicago Fire, I was excited to see Brandon Larracuente join the show as Sal Vasquez this season, taking over for Carver. It’s been a year of big changes for the One Chicago universe, with a lot of characters leaving – and Sal being a welcome addition! But it sounds like we might have another tough goodbye coming up before season 14 ends, which is always hard to hear.
