The new series will debut with three episodes on FX and Hulu. After that, one new episode will air each week until the final episode on March 26th. Titled Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette, the nine-episode show recounts the relationship between John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette, drawing from actual events. The series, created by Murphy, focuses on their real-life romance and will likely cover the events leading up to the tragic plane crash that claimed their lives in 1999.

With an impressive 16 Academy Award nominations, Sinners was a strong contender for awards season success. However, DiCaprio’s critically acclaimed film ultimately took the lead with 13 nominations. Hamnet and Marty Supreme followed closely with 11 nominations each, and Frankenstein and Sentimental Value each received 8. Despite being completely overlooked by the Oscars, Wicked: For Good earned 2 nominations.

A new game collection, Nickelodeon Splat Pack, is launching on January 30th for several platforms, but surprisingly, it won’t be available on Xbox Series X/S. Gematsu reports that Limited Run Games, the game’s publisher, confirmed the Xbox release was unexpectedly canceled.

Following their Las Vegas wedding, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez purchased a large estate for $60.85 million, intending it to be a family home. After their recent separation, they listed the property for sale, but haven’t received any acceptable offers. According to TMZ, Ben is now willing to lower the price to facilitate a sale, while Jennifer is still aiming for $68 million, which accounts for the improvements they made to the house together.

The horror film Leviticus had its first showing near midnight on Friday at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival. It’s the first feature film directed by Adrian Chiarella, and tells the story of two teenage boys who fall in love but must run from a dangerous force that appears as their ideal partner (according to festival.sundance.org). The film has received positive reviews and a significant distribution agreement following its premiere.

The popular fantasy series, Empyrean, started with the novel Fourth Wing. It now includes the sequels Iron Flame and Onyx Storm, with two more books planned. In 2023, Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society Productions announced they would be turning Fourth Wing into a TV series for Prime Video. While still in the early stages of production, updates about the show – which fans are eagerly anticipating as a Dragon TV series – have been very encouraging.

As a comic book movie fan, I’ve seen a few different takes on Juggernaut over the years. Vinnie Jones first brought him to life in X-Men: The Last Stand, and then Ryan Reynolds lent his voice to the character in the hilarious Deadpool 2. Interestingly, Jones was actually asked to reprise the role in the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine, but he turned it down! Apparently, getting into that suit is a real ordeal – he described it as “such a drama”! It’s a shame, but I can definitely understand prioritizing comfort.
