A glowing C-3PO head from the movie Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back recently sold for $1,058,400 at a Propstore auction. This price is higher than what items from popular films like Jaws, The Lord of the Rings, Top Gun, and Batman Begins have sold for. Experts had predicted it would sell for between $350,000 and $700,000.

Superman #36, from writer Joshua Williamson and artist Dan Mora, focuses on the story of Superboy Prime. He began as a regular fan of comics, but gained superpowers and became the only hero on his world. However, the power went to his head, and he transformed into a dangerous enemy across multiple universes.

The strange episodes Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi (Sepideh Moafi) experiences – where she seems to momentarily freeze while treating patients – remain unexplained. However, the way Dr. Michael “Robby” Rabinovitch (Noah Wyle) is behaving towards her is clear. Throughout their shift, Robby has been rude and dismissive to Al-Hashimi, who is set to replace him during his three-month leave. In the episode “6:00 P.M.,” his behavior escalates to cursing at her and suggesting she’s not competent. When Baran calmly proposes adding another daytime attending to ease the department’s workload, Robby angrily tells her, “It’s going to be yours to mess up, so don’t!” and abruptly ends the conversation, showing he doesn’t value her input. This is a terrible way to treat a colleague, and it’s another instance of Al-Hashimi having to tolerate Robby’s childish outburst. Baby Jane Doe would never act like this.

Most of the recent events in “Muskets, Liberty, and Sauerkraut” focus on the adventures of Claire and Jamie’s children, rather than on Claire and Jamie themselves. The story currently centers around Savannah, Georgia, where Jamie changes his mind about letting Bree and Roger go to secure weapons for Fraser’s Ridge after learning about Cunningham’s schemes. Knowing from Frank’s research that the Siege of Savannah is still some time off – and will likely result in a defeat for the Continental Army – they believe staying within the city will keep them safe. It’s clear someone the audience cares about will be caught up in the battle, but it’s remarkable how positive this group remains, even after facing decades of hardship.

As a movie critic, I have to say Netflix Japan really hit a home run with the City Hunter film released earlier this year. It wasn’t just a hit in Japan – it immediately shot to the top of their Global Top 10 for non-English films and landed in the top ten charts in an impressive 32 countries, including major markets like France, South Korea, Hong Kong, and even Brazil. What’s even more exciting is the film’s impact on the source material; Netflix reported a noticeable jump in sales of the original City Hunter manga, which has already sold over 50 million copies since 1985. It’s great to see a live-action adaptation breathe new life into a beloved classic!

Currently, two seasons of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds are coming to Paramount+. While no official date has been announced, season 4 is expected to premiere around summer 2026, following the typical release schedule for the show. However, season 4 will be the last to feature a full 10 episodes.

Following The Hunt for Gollum, the new film will cover six chapters from The Fellowship of the Ring that weren’t in Peter Jackson’s 2001 movie. It seems the story will focus on a character who played a very minor role in the original Lord of the Rings films.

As a movie fan, I’m always amazed by how dedicated actors are to their roles. They really go all-out, completely changing their bodies through intense diets and workouts – sometimes it’s pretty extreme! It’s not just about looking the part, though. It seems like physically transforming helps them truly become the character, understanding their power and weaknesses on a deeper level. You see it a lot – actors gaining huge amounts of muscle to play gods or heroes, or losing weight to convincingly portray someone fragile or ghostly. Honestly, these physical transformations often get as much attention as the films themselves, with actors sharing their routines during interviews and promotions. It’s fascinating to watch!
