Sitcoms frequently use exaggerated characters for laughs, but The Big Bang Theory often went overboard. Throughout the show, characters like Sheldon acted incredibly selfishly, Howard was overly crude, and Stuart was portrayed as unrealistically sad. While strong characters like Penny and Amy, and occasional redeeming moments, kept the show going, The Big Bang Theory tended to be very cartoonish, which didn’t appeal to everyone.

Noah Hawley will be writing and directing a remake of the film Terrified for Warner Bros., according to The Hollywood Reporter. This means he’s taking over the project from Guillermo del Toro, who had been involved since 2018.

As he investigates, he begins a relationship with a single mother named Rakel and tries to build a connection with her teenage son, Oleg.

Chris Davis was one of the original cast members of Abbott Elementary, but even though he’s been on the show since the beginning, his character, Mr. Johnson, remains largely a mystery. We mostly learn about him through the funny, exaggerated stories he tells.
