So, I’ve been getting a lot of questions about which four movies I’m most excited for! Here’s the scoop, with the dates they come out – though honestly, I usually hit the theater on Saturdays, so my viewing day might be different!

The Godfather centers on the Corleone family, a powerful criminal organization headed by Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando). Although very few actors have received Oscar nominations or wins for their work in comic book movies, a surprising number of Academy Award winners and nominees have played superhero roles. These talented performers brought something special to their portrayals of well-known comic book characters, making them truly memorable.
What I really love about I Love LA is how it captures that feeling of being young – when you’re full of hope and dreams, and that optimism feels like a shield against everything life throws at you. It reminds me of being at the start of my career, before I learned to be jaded. It has a similar vibe to Adults on FX, actually. The connection between Maia and Tallulah is so strong; it gives the show this really uplifting, ‘us against the world’ feeling, which fuels both the funny moments and the more emotional ones. Of course, it’s easy to compare it to shows like Insecure, Girls, or Broad City, but I Love LA feels different – it’s more than just a continuation of those stories. It really stands on its own.

The trailer for Fackham Hall quickly gained popularity, reaching 7.3 million views within its first day – a record for Bleecker Street. The film features Tom Felton, Katherine Waterston (known for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them), Ben Radcliffe from The Witcher, along with Thomasin McKenzie, Emma Laird, and Damien Lewis.
Netflix is now considering a bid to buy Warner Bros., according to Reuters. They’ve hired Moelis & Co. to help put together an offer, putting them in competition with Paramount, which is currently seen as the leading contender. This is a shift from Netflix’s previous statements that they weren’t interested in acquiring Warner Bros. Moelis & Co. also recently advised Skydance Media in its merger with Paramount Global, and Paramount is looking to expand its content library. While Netflix hasn’t formally submitted a bid yet, reports suggest one is coming soon.
