Filming is set to commence in August. “Traction” signifies the first joint venture between WestEnd Films and Dennis Davidson’s Elizabeth Bay Productions, as well as Atlanta-based FilmHedge, following their collaboration last year. FilmHedge will co-finance the project alongside Elizabeth Bay. The plot revolves around Kate (portrayed by Rapace), a former U.S. soldier, who is leading a humanitarian mission with her Chechen ally Magomed through war-torn Chechnya.
