Leonardo DiCaprio, known for his upcoming film One Battle After Another (releasing in 2025), recently offered advice to Jennifer Lawrence during a conversation for Variety’s Actors on Actors series. Lawrence starred in Die My Love earlier this year. The two actors previously collaborated on the Netflix film Don’t Look Up and are set to work together again on a new movie directed by Martin Scorsese, based on Peter Cameron’s novel What Happens at Night. As this will be Lawrence’s first time working with Scorsese, she asked DiCaprio for some insight into the director, and he responded:

However, his unusual delivery—a sort of rushed, muffled speech where vowels sound bent—is more noticeable than the message itself. It’s difficult to concentrate on what he’s saying because how he’s saying it is so distracting.

The upcoming series adds to the Monsterverse universe and tells the story of Colonel Lee Shaw – the character Wyatt Russell portrays – before the events of ‘Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.’ Russell will return as Shaw in a story set in 1984, where Shaw undertakes a dangerous secret mission. His goal? To prevent the Soviets from unleashing a massive new Titan that could devastate the U.S. and change the course of the Cold War.

In 2026, Disneyland Paris will enhance its Rivers of the Far West ride with new scenes inspired by original artwork from Disney legend Marc Davis. Watching these two actors talk about their careers is really interesting. They’re both funny and serious in different ways, and they highlight each other’s strengths and weaknesses. DiCaprio often seems reserved in interviews, while Lawrence is very direct, but on screen they both bring a powerful energy. Apple TV+ announced a new series starring Wyatt Russell, who played a younger version of Lee Shaw in the original show. This spinoff will take place in 1984 and follow Shaw on a secret mission to stop the Soviet Union from deploying a devastating new weapon that could change the course of the Cold War and destroy the United States.
