Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s role as Simon Williams in the upcoming Disney+ series Wonder Man is a first: he’s the first actor to play a villain in a DC movie and then a superhero in a Marvel project. He previously played the villain Black Manta in the DC films Aquaman and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. His Aquaman co-star, Jason Momoa, has also become a significant figure in DC’s cinematic universe.

Competing for a prize worth around $656 million, Netflix’s new Japanese series features a talented cast including Junichi Okada, Yumia Fujisaki, Kaya Kiyohara, Masahiro Higashide, Shota Sometani, Taichi Saotome, Yuya Endo, Takayuki Yamada, Riho Yoshioka, Kazunari Ninomiya, Hiroshi Tamaki, and Hideaki Ito. In addition to acting, Junichi Okada, who used to be in a boyband, also choreographed the show’s impressive fight sequences and worked as a producer.

While it might not be a classic holiday movie like Die Hard, Glen Powell’s new film has quickly become the most popular digital release this week. It’s currently beating out other recent films like Now You See Me: Now You Don’t and One Battle After Another in terms of views.

According to a recent rumor, Deadpool—played by Ryan Reynolds—could appear in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday movie. The story suggests he’ll team up with the X-Men to battle both the Avengers and the Fantastic Four.

Someone on X (formerly Twitter) posted a picture of the Brazilian title and logo for the new Avengers movie. It’s called “Vingadores: Doutor Destino,” which translates to “Avengers: Doctor Doom.” This is different from the title used in most other places, which is “Avengers: Doomsday.”

It’s 2017, and Ilya and his teammate are in Tampa Bay for the hockey All-Star game – similar to an ‘All Stars’ season of a reality competition. You can tell they’re in Florida by their outfits: Ilya’s wearing a Hawaiian shirt, and his teammate has on a white suit reminiscent of ‘Miami Vice.’ This time, they’re on the same team, giving them a chance to spend time together publicly. While at a bar, they both casually ask if the other is attending alone, and they both are, which pleasantly surprises them.

Here are all the easter eggs from Avengers: Doomsday’s first teaser.

This episode reveals a surprisingly complex side of Carol. Her feelings towards Zosia and the others aren’t simple; it’s a mix of both fondness and resentment. Zosia has proven to be a surprisingly effective companion, someone who can often defuse Carol’s defenses – a comforting presence that Carol finds hard to push away. At times, Carol seems to forget – or chooses to ignore – that Zosia is someone she deeply connects with, like a trusted friend. Zosia is kind, understanding, and naturally appealing, and she consistently shows Carol more patience than most of the other survivors, many of whom didn’t even want her included in their regular video calls. Carol clearly misses Zosia’s presence, even when she’s frustrated by it. It’s becoming clear that Carol enjoys a good debate, and, as shown in flashbacks, Helen used to be a patient listener for her cynical views.

I’m really excited about this new project! King is producing, along with Department M and Wenxin She, and get this – Pop Mart is involved too! You know, the company behind those super popular, adorable little demon figures created by Kasing Lung? It’s still early days though, they haven’t brought a writer on board yet, which means if you’ve got a great story idea for that world, now’s the time to pitch it!
