Instead, she proactively contacted Frank Martin, a somewhat questionable business partner of her late husband’s brother. This wasn’t a panicked response; it was a deliberate move to a backup plan – forming an alliance with someone influential who had a lot at stake.

Todd moved with a gloomy, awkward gait, clearly unhappy about being filmed and resenting his wife for involving the cameras. So, it was incredibly surprising to hear him cheerfully order a “raspberry cookie swirl” ice cream. It was as unexpected as seeing someone like Wednesday Addams enjoying a day at a theme park. But even that wasn’t the most unbelievable thing that happened when he and Bronwyn were getting their sundaes.

Even though Lorelai could sometimes be a bit much, and Rory a little too mature for her age, Gilmore Girls was at its best when it offered quick, clever conversations alongside a touching and honest portrayal of their complex mother-daughter bond. However, a new mystery focusing on the Parker family has emerged, and hopefully it will provide some satisfying answers for Gary Cole’s character.

Adam Driver portrayed Ben Solo, also known as Kylo Ren, a key character in Disney’s Star Wars sequel trilogy. As the son of Han Solo and Princess Leia, Ben was drawn to the dark side, ultimately destroying Luke Skywalker’s Jedi school and becoming a follower of Supreme Leader Snoke and the First Order.

Kenna meets Scotty, who is sweet but hesitant about asking her out. Their budding relationship takes a tragic turn when they’re in a car accident that kills Scotty and lands Kenna in legal trouble. To complicate things, they share a child Kenna no longer raises; the child is now in the care of Scotty’s best friend, Ledger, and Scotty’s family – and it appears Kenna and Ledger haven’t even met before.

Johnson later directed two more films, Glass Onion and Wake Up Dead Man. He’s also known for directing The Last Jedi, the second film in the Star Wars sequel series, and the science fiction movie Looper.

As a film buff, I’ve been really surprised by Disney+ lately. Sure, it’s always had those classic, slightly spooky Disney movies, but now it’s packed with genuinely scary horror and thriller films from all sorts of studios. Adding those other catalogs has really changed things – it’s not just for families anymore. Honestly, that’s great news because it means there are a ton of hidden gems and underrated movies just waiting to be discovered on the platform.
