The new film Eddington will premiere on HBO Max in the U.S. on Friday, November 14th. It will also air on HBO on Saturday, November 15th at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The movie stars Austin Butler, Emma Stone, Luke Grimes, Deirdre O’Connell, Micheal Ward, Amélie Hoeferle, Clifton Collins Jr., and William Belleau. Eddington centers on a tense conflict between a sheriff and a mayor in the town of Eddington, New Mexico, which quickly escalates tensions among the residents.

The sequel, Black Phone 2, takes the story in a new direction, building on what came before. It focuses heavily on supernatural themes, making the killer a ghost and much of the story happen within Gwen’s dreams. As a result, the characters and plot feel more like a stylized fantasy than a realistic portrayal.

It’s a classic thriller, much like other TV shows by Harlan Coben.

A few episodes back, when Tara gently rejected Roddy’s awkward attempts to flirt with her and sent him home, it signaled to viewers that what we’d just seen wasn’t as simple as it appeared. Slow Horses is already a show full of clever twists, and Tara’s entire interrogation was a complex plan in itself. But the fact that the show presented Tara’s reasons as straightforward is brilliant. It avoids any need to believe in Roddy’s unbelievable rise, and keeps many of the key characters fooled – even though they never thought of him as a successful romantic. He was being used, they were being used, and we, the audience, were being played too. It was a masterful move.

It’s important to understand that Stella doesn’t deserve the public shaming and personal fallout she experienced, especially during that interview with Kara Swisher. She’s been mistreated by influential people throughout her life, and the idea that she felt her father would be disappointed even in her attempt to end her life is deeply disturbing. However, Stella has also made serious mistakes and consistently prioritizes her own interests. When she meets with Mia and Marcus to discuss Chris’s role at UBN – Chris’s interview actually increased her popularity and negotiating power – it appears Stella is refusing to compromise, motivated purely by spite.

A new Star Wars show was originally planned to launch on Disney+ this fall, but those plans changed. An announcement at Star Wars Celebration 2025 in Tokyo revealed that Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures will now premiere in Fall 2025, pushing back the initial release timeframe.

It was a little strange at first seeing Angie’s home life filmed so differently than what we usually see on Housewives. Because this show follows the Wife Swap format, they really set the scene with her family – which, honestly, a lot of us already know pretty well. Just like Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame drew story threads from all corners of the Marvel Cinematic Universe – regardless of how well those previous projects performed – the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday will do the same.
