Avengers: Doomsday Star Addresses Fans’ Biggest Fear About the MCU’s Next Crossover

Bill Pullman recently spoke with Esquire magazine about his role in the upcoming Marvel film, Avengers: Doomsday. He explained that the movie explores fundamental human themes, saying it’s a return to the core ideas that inspire storytelling. Despite featuring a large ensemble cast, Pullman noted that directors Anthony and Joe Russo were dedicated to ensuring the film had a meaningful story and wasn’t just a series of brief appearances.

Tilly Norwood AI Studio Releases Music Single and Video

Industry leaders, including SAG-AFTRA President Sean Astin, have voiced strong objections to Tilly Norwood, a digitally created performer. Despite this criticism, the studio behind Norwood is now using the AI ‘actor’ to encourage real actors to embrace artificial intelligence. In a promotional song, Norwood sings about the potential of AI, urging actors to lead the way and see AI not as a threat, but as a tool for growth and creative freedom: “Actors, it’s time to take the lead. Create the future, plant the seed. Don’t be left out, don’t fall behind. Build your own, and you’ll be free. We can scale, we can grow. Be the creators we’ve always known. It’s the next evolution, can’t you see? AI’s not the enemy, it’s the key.”

A Sinners Sweep Could Flip the MFL Leaderboard

I was hoping the Writers Guild Awards might throw a curveball into the Oscars race, but honestly, that was probably wishful thinking! Paul Thomas Anderson, who wrote One Battle After Another, was the clear frontrunner for Best Adapted Screenplay, and Ryan Coogler, the writer and director of Sinners, was the same for Best Original Screenplay. And just as everyone predicted, both of them won! It feels like One Battle and Sinners are really solidifying their positions as the ones to beat heading into the Academy Awards this Sunday.

Scarpetta Review: Nicole Kidman Anchors Prime Video’s Wild New Crime Series

This spring, nine TV series will expand to eleven, including new adaptations of Margo’s Got Money Troubles and Scarpetta, both available on streaming platforms. While some of these shows are exceptional, like the first season of Big Little Lies, others haven’t quite hit the mark. Scarpetta, premiering on Prime Video March 11th, falls somewhere in between – it starts as a seemingly standard crime drama but occasionally veers into surprisingly strange territory.

The Beauty’s Most and Least Sensical Transformations, Ranked

The premise of the show The Beauty is that most people are deeply unhappy with their appearance. This leads to a complex storyline involving pharmaceutical companies, tech giants, and the government, all focused on how they’d convince people to get “the Beauty” – either through an expensive official treatment or by contracting a stolen version of the virus. The show features Rebecca Hall wanting to change her appearance, and Evan Peters as an FBI agent who seems to be the only one making sense. While The Beauty tries to make a point about society’s obsession with looks and self-image, it gets bogged down in absurdity, with over-the-top physical transformations. Think lots of strange fluids and a bit like a more adult version of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles origin story. However, the show is interesting because it portrays almost all its characters as fundamentally flawed, all feeling disconnected between how they see themselves inside and how they appear on the outside.

Ryan Gosling’s Project Hail Mary Rotten Tomatoes Score Unveiled

As a huge fan of The Martian, I was so excited for Project Hail Mary – it has the same brilliant writer, Drew Goddard! And seeing Ryan Gosling take on another space role, after First Man, was a fantastic sign. It clearly all worked out, because the movie launched with an incredible 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes – a nearly perfect score! It’s everything I hoped for and more.
