Utawarerumono: Past and Present Rediscovered will have the return of Raiko and new gameplay systems

I’m so excited about the latest updates for the game! We’re getting to know more of the characters who will be important to the story. It’s great to see Raiko, Ashta, and Nava returning from the first game, Monochrome Mobius, but I’m really intrigued by the new additions. Apparently, we’ll be meeting Shunrai, who’s Raiko’s mother and also Mikazuki’s stepmother! And it’s not just characters – they’ve revealed some cool new ways to play too, like Area Conquest mode and something called Halu’s ATF Program. I can’t wait to try it all out!

While Aquaplus is currently famous for visual novels like ToHeart and the Utawararerumono series (which will pause after the release of Past and Present Rediscovered), they also expressed a desire to remake classic RPGs such as Dungeon Travelers and Tears to Tiara.
