GungHo and Falcom have announced that Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter will be available worldwide on September 17th. The game is launching on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch (including the new model), and PC (via Steam), along with a new release date trailer.
The open beta will be available on all gaming platforms. If you’re playing on Nintendo Switch, you’ll need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. However, a PlayStation Plus subscription isn’t required for playing on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5. You can pre-download the open beta starting April 23rd, and if you participated in the closed beta, you can use that same game file after updating it. To get players excited, Cygames also released a seven-minute introductory video ahead of the game’s launch in July.
