I saw this really touching video on TikTok by Itssozer – his name is Samuel Weidenhofer – back in December. It featured Ed Bambas, a veteran who said he just couldn’t afford to retire. It went totally viral because when Itssozer told him how much money his GoFundMe had raised, Ed broke down crying! It was seriously heartwarming to watch.

Okay, so I just read up on Dungeons of Dusk, and it’s looking awesome! They’re planning a demo for Steam Next Fest in February 2026, which I’m already marking on my calendar. But get this – they’re including a level editor and Steam Workshop support, so we’ll be able to make and share our own levels! The latest Steam blog post dives into all the details about how development is going, what the game will probably cost (around $16.99), why New Blood teamed up with 68k Studios, and a ton of other cool stuff. Oh, and good news for us mobile gamers – it’s still confirmed to be coming to mobile too!

Fantasy action RPG Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny is now available on Nintendo Switch 2

Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 with improved graphics – aiming for a resolution of 1240p and a smooth 60 frames per second. It will feature better lighting and visual effects compared to the original Switch game. Nintendo plans to release a free update for owners of the Switch version, bringing those same improvements to their existing copies, both physical and digital.

Crossovers can sometimes feel like a quick way to make money, and the delay with the Monster Hunter set didn’t help that impression. However, the Final Fantasy crossover was truly exceptional. The artwork was fantastic, and the developers did a great job of capturing the feel of the Final Fantasy games in both the characters and gameplay, all while making it work seamlessly within the card game itself.

It’s not uncommon for game developers to shift focus and resources from older projects to new ones, and that’s what happened with the second Chrome game. Techland ultimately decided to prioritize other projects, but they had already made significant progress on Chrome. Thankfully, enough information and materials still exist to show what the game was like, and it seems like it could have been a really great title. Let’s go back to the beginning and take a look.
