Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 get new Steam releases with save data not carrying over

We’ve updated the classic Yakuza games! They’ve been renamed to Yakuza Kiwami (Legacy) and Yakuza Kiwami 2 (Legacy) and are no longer available for purchase. You can now buy the remasters separately for $19.99 each, or get both in a discounted bundle – perfect if you’re new to the series! Just so you know, you won’t be able to transfer your saved progress from the older versions to the new ones. Here are the official messages from the Steam store pages for both games:

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Review – Good Game, But Not A Good Metroid Prime Game

The game’s development has been famously troubled. Originally announced by Bandai Namco in 2017 and reportedly far along in 2018, it was completely restarted at Retro Studios in 2019. Beyond the difficult development process, there were also concerns about whether the gameplay, similar to the original Metroid Prime, would still feel fresh and engaging to players today. While games like Metroid Prime have inspired many popular ‘Metroidvania’ titles, some felt the original’s style might seem a little outdated by modern standards.

Ugly Sonic Returns As Fan Edit Will Restore The Infamous Original Design

A26 had planned to release a trailer this week, but decided to delay it by a few weeks because they weren’t happy with how it looked. In a social media post, they explained they want Sonic’s movements to be as smooth as possible and felt the original trailer wouldn’t have been well-received. They assured fans the wait will be worth it, promising the final version will accurately reflect the character’s classic design.
