During the Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, two Culdcept games were announced: Culdcept The First and Culdcept Begins. Culdcept The First is an updated version of the original game, and Culdcept Begins is a brand new installment. Both games are scheduled to release in the same month. You can now pre-order the physical version of the Switch 2, which is also compatible with the original Switch.

Culdcept The First, originally released in Japan for Sega Saturn in 1997, is coming to modern consoles and Steam this July with an English version. Clear River Games is managing the console release in the West, though it’s not yet confirmed if this includes the physical edition. CityConnection is responsible for the game on Steam and in Japan.
