If you’re a fan of Evangelion and want to bring some of that aesthetic into your home, Govee offers officially licensed gaming light kits. Ikuto Yamasshita cleverly hid references to the series for fans throughout the design. These include a dial at 9 o’clock based on the Angel Sachiel, a Y-shaped element inspired by the series’ warning patterns, and imagery of the Spear of Longinus. The NERV logo also appears, and a 30th anniversary emblem is engraved on the back of the watch, as you can see in the photos below.
Evangelions are usually shown as incredibly tall, about the size of skyscrapers. However, their size isn’t always consistent. Sometimes they tower over buildings, and other times they appear much smaller, closer in height to mid-sized roofs. This inconsistency also happens in scenes with runways or aircraft carriers, where their size seems to change depending on what else is happening in the shot. These shifts are usually due to the production team reusing backgrounds or making quick changes to fit deadlines.
