As a die-hard fan of the Castlevania series, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming Blu-ray release of Castlevania Nocturne: The Complete First Season! Having grown up playing the classic NES games, it’s been an absolute joy to see the story come alive in this animated adaptation. Netflix’s previous Castlevania series was a fantastic retelling of the original trilogy, and I can’t wait to see how they bring Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night to life in the next installment.
Starting this October 8, fans can own the latest installment of Netflix’s hit Castlevania anime series, Castlevania Nocturne, in high definition. Preorders for Castlevania Nocturne: The Complete First Season Blu-ray are now open online.
Castlevania Nocturne is the next installment in Netflix’s Castlevania animated series, following four successful seasons. Similar to the initial show, Nocturne reinterprets the storyline from the classic Castlevania franchise. The first season recounts the events of Rondo of Blood, set during the French Revolution of 1792, centuries after the original tale. Netflix has announced that the production of Nocturne’s second season is underway, focusing on Symphony of the Night – a fan-favorite Castlevania game.
If you want to watch the first four seasons of the Castlevania anime series, which are currently discounted, you can purchase them all on Amazon. These seasons build upon the mythology established in the original NES Castlevania game trilogy. Additionally, you can stream seasons one through four, as well as Castlevania: Nocturne, on Netflix.
