Inti Creates is releasing a Nintendo Switch 2 version of their card-battling RPG, *Card-en-Ciel*, on January 29, 2026. Players who already own the game will also be able to purchase an upgrade pack.
The Card-en-Ciel Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will offer improved graphics with 4K resolution or a smooth 120 frames per second, and it will also support mouse controls. It costs $34.99, and current Nintendo Switch owners can upgrade for just $10 with a special upgrade pack. Additionally, an expansion pass is planned, which will include two downloadable content packs.

This new version will feature improved performance with faster framerates and higher resolution, and will also add support for mouse controls. Additionally, players can look forward to new content released through a multi-part DLC expansion pass.
Card-en-Ciel Nintendo Switch 2 Edition
Card-en-Ciel is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 on January 29th, 2026! This version is built specifically for the new system, letting you play in stunning 4K resolution or enjoy incredibly smooth gameplay at 120 frames per second. You can even switch to mouse-like controls by simply moving the Joy-Con 2, making it faster and easier to pick cards during battles.
Card-en-Ciel Switch 2 Edition will be available for $34.99. If you already own Card-en-Ciel on Nintendo Switch, you can upgrade to the new edition for just $10.
