Capture a Vigorwasp in Monster Hunter Wilds for Healing Help

In the game ‘Monster Hunter Wilds’, a side mission called Healing Help becomes available after finishing Chapter 4-1 by conversing with your Palicoes. This side quest involves capturing a Vigorwasp, a unique creature that dwells on the Plains, Forest, and Wyveria maps. This guide aims to assist players in completing Monster Hunter Wilds’ Healing Help side mission.

Upon finishing Healing Help, players can acquire the ability to summon Vigorwasps, referred to as Attract Vigorwasps. This supportive action is automatically bestowed upon your Palico, enabling them to call for Vigorwasps in areas where they don’t usually appear.

Monster Hunter Wilds: How to Capture a Vigorwasp for Healing Help

Fast Travel to Windward Plains, Scarlet Forest, or Ruins of Wyveria

As a gamer, when I’m on the hunt for a Vigorwasp in Monster Hunter Wilds, I kick things off by journeying to the Windward Plains, Scarlet Forest, or Ruins of Wyveria. To do this, I first open my local map, hit the “World Map” button at the screen’s bottom, and then choose one of these environments. Once there, all I have to do is pick a camp in the ecosystem, and poof! I’m instantly transported. Easy peasy, Vigorwasp-catching’s a breeze!

Players fresh from accepting the Healing Help side mission might find The Ruins of Wyveria hard to reach. However, by participating in one of Alma’s optional quests, they can explore that map whenever they wish. For a more straightforward hunt for Vigorwasps, players may consider looking in the Plains or Forest instead.

Use Filter Icons to Locate a Vigorwasp

After visiting the Plains, Forest, or Wyveria, players need to open their local map and look for the “Filter Icons” option in the screen’s bottom-left corner. They should click on this option, choose the “Show All” setting within Filter Icons, find Vigorwasp on the list, select it, and set a marker for it. After marking the Vigorwasp, players can ride their Seikrets (either by pressing up on the d-pad or using the tab key on a keyboard), then activate the auto-move feature to travel towards the marked Vigorwasp location automatically.

Capture the Vigorwasp

Now, players need to navigate to the Item Bar located in the bottom-right corner of their screen. They should choose the Capture Net from the options and prepare it. Next, they must keep the Aim Slinger control pressed down, direct the Slinger towards the Vigorwasp, and hit the Fire Slinger button to trap the creature.

After capturing the Vigorwasp, players need to head back to any Base Camp within an ecosystem and chat with their Palico to finish the “Healing Help” side quest in Monster Hunter World.
