‘Captain America 4’ Footage: Harrison Ford Is Red Hulk, Adamantium Discovered in MCU, Giancarlo Esposito’s Villain Revealed

As a longtime Marvel fan and avid follower of the Cinematic Universe, I was absolutely thrilled to hear about the latest developments from “Captain America: Brave New World” during Comic-Con. The unexpected appearance of Harrison Ford as Thunderbolt Ross transforming into the Red Hulk was a truly electrifying surprise that left me in awe.

At Comic-Con on Saturday, “Captain America: Brave New World” created a buzz with appearances from stars Anthony Mackie, Tim Blake Nelson, Danny Ramirez, and Giancarlo Esposito. However, the biggest shock came when Harrison Ford unexpectedly joined the panel, drawing thunderous cheers from the crowd. The film’s footage showed that Ford will become the Red Hulk in the movie, and he delivered a roaring sound effect to delight fans.

Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, described “Brave New World” as bringing back the intense action found in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” blending it with the suspenseful storylines prevalent in ’70s movies, but with a superhero twist. According to Anthony Mackie, this means fans can anticipate a more thought-provoking portrayal of Captain America. Mackie explained that unlike Steve Rogers, who is the original Cap and known for his muscular build, Sam Wilson’s character is not as physically imposing.

Upon his arrival, Esposito shared some new information – for the very first time, he confessed to being the notorious Sidewinder, the monarch of the Serpent Society.

As a cinema devotee, I’m thrilled about the latest sneak peek of “Captain America: Brave New World” shown at Hall H. The scene opened with President Ross, played by Ford, addressing an important gathering of world leaders at the Celestial Island Summit. The shocking discovery? Adamantium, a priceless element, was found amidst the ruins where a deceased Celestial lay in the ocean.

“At the closing of the panel, Feige expressed, ‘I think my already geeky existence is now perfected, and then Harrison Ford drops the word Adamantium'”

On July 12, the initial trailer unveiled an attack on the White House and an assassination plot against Harrison Ford’s character, President Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross. Notably, a day after this, there was an actual assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump.

In “Avengers: Endgame” (2019), Chris Evans’ character, Steve Rogers aka Captain America, passes on the leadership role to Mackie. Previously, Steve had featured in all the “Captain America” films and appeared in four “Avengers” movies. Towards the end of the film, an emotional Steve decided to live the rest of his days with Peggy Carter instead of staying with his superhero team. He then handed over his iconic vibranium shield to Sam as a symbol of responsibility and duty.

I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be rejoining the Marvel universe for the first time in “Captain America: Brave New World.” In this new adventure, you’ll find my “Falcon and Winter Soldier” colleagues Danny Ramirez as the latest Falcon and Carl Lumbly portraying Isaiah Bradley. Joining us are Shira Haas as the formidable Sabra, Giancarlo Esposito as a sinister adversary, and Anthony Mackie stepping into the role of “Thunderbolt” Ross, succeeding the late William Hurt. Moreover, Marvel has added exciting throwbacks by inviting Liv Tyler back as Betty Ross and Tim Blake Nelson as The Leader, who previously graced our screens in “The Incredible Hulk.”

I’m excited to share that next year on February 12, 2025, I’ll be looking forward to watching “Captain America: Brave New World,” a fascinating film directed by the talented Julius Onah. This masterpiece was brilliantly penned down by Malcolm Spellman, Dalan Musson, and Matthew Orton. I can hardly wait!
