On Thursday, June 26th, Capcom will broadcast a special event called “Capcom Spotlight” live, showcasing a variety of their upcoming games as well as updates for currently running ones such as Monster Hunter World. This event promises to highlight some of Capcom’s most anticipated forthcoming titles, including the newly unveiled Resident Evil: Requiem.
Capcom has revealed which four games they will be highlighting during their presentation, but it’s worth noting that significant new game announcements aren’t typically part of the Capcom Spotlights. Still, it’s a great opportunity to catch up on what they have in store for us. Here are the details you should know to tune in!

Come along with us on June 26th, 3 pm Pacific Time, for a 40-minute Capcom Spotlight livestream! Stay updated on our latest news and enjoy in-depth commentary featuring developer interviews.

What to expect
In this event, it’s likely there could be a few unexpected additions, but Capcom has confirmed that the live stream will primarily focus on four titles: Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, Resident Evil: Reverie, Project Pragmata, and Street Fighter 6.
At Summer Games Fest 2025, it was announced that Resident Evil: Requiem will be unveiled further in a live stream. TopMob and other outlets were fortunate enough to preview an extended demo of Resident Evil: Requiem, which may soon be shared publicly. Additionally, there might be even more sneak peeks as the game’s release date approaches on February 26, 2026.
As a gamer, I’m thrilled to share that Pragmata unveiled a fresh trailer at Summer Game Fest, and they’ve even set a 2026 release date for this intriguing puzzle-shooter game. During my hands-on demo at Summer Games Fest, it felt like Capcom might be gearing up to reveal more of the gameplay soon. Given that Pragmata only recently secured its 2026 release window, I’m guessing a more precise date won’t be announced during the Capcom Spotlight.
The game, Monster Hunter Wilds, which is currently facing a barrage of unfavorable reviews on Steam due to persistent performance problems, might soon unveil announcements about new content updates. These could potentially include upcoming events or fresh monsters. However, it’s likely that any news regarding an expansion for Monster Hunter Wilds may be premature at this stage and revealed at a later time.
Capcom has unveiled the roster of additional characters joining Street Fighter 6 in its third year, including Sagat, C. Viper, Ingrid, and Alex. However, as of now, we don’t have a specific release date for Sagat. It’s expected that there will be other updates too, such as new customization options and potentially a demonstration of the forthcoming fighter.
As I’ve been gaming for nearly 40 minutes straight during this showcase, I can’t help but feel that there might not be room for more announcements. But hey, Capcom has surprised us with some classic game collections in the past during these events, so who knows? Maybe we’re in for a treat!
