As a lifelong Call of Duty enthusiast who’s seen my fair share of digital battles and virtual carnage, I must say that Activision’s reveal of Season 6 for Modern Warfare III, Warzone, and Warzone Mobile has left me absolutely ghoulishly excited! The new BlackCell DLC offering, particularly the operator “Alone,” is a chilling testament to the game’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of creativity.
Activision unveiled Season 6 across Modern Warfare III, Warzone, and Warzone Mobile, and just like previous seasons, it includes a fresh BlackCell DLC pack. The main attraction in the most recent BlackCell package is an operator named “Lone Wolf,” who possesses a rather fearsome nature.
The character Ghost is depicted as a grotesque three-headed zombie-like mutation in this portrayal, and the image below clearly supports this gruesome depiction. This fittingly ominous representation aligns with the onset of Season 6, which coincides with Call of Duty’s annual Haunting event, where the game is infused with a variety of eerie elements reminiscent of Michael Myers’ horror theme.
In the recent blog post by Activision, they didn’t reveal the pricing details, but given the past cost of BlackCell bundles at around $30, it’s likely that the upcoming bundle may also be priced similarly.
Purchasing the BlackCell package grants users exclusive access to a designated section of the Season 6 Battle Map, as well as 20 immediate tier advancements. Additionally, this bundle includes 1,100 Call of Duty Points, the Alone operator, a “Ghost Charmer BlackCell” blueprint for customizing the STG44 Assault Rifle with “Chromatographic” tracers and a “Cenotaph Slam” death effect, and another blueprint called “Maximum Aspect BlackCell” specifically for the Rival-9 SMG. The package also introduces a new finishing move known as “Throat Rip,” which suggests a violent and intense maneuver.
