Call Of Duty Players Think They've Discovered The Next Warzone Map

As a seasoned Call of Duty veteran, I can’t help but feel a thrill of anticipation as rumors swirl about the potential Avalon map for Warzone. The tantalizing glimpses we’ve gotten so far have me reminiscing about my days exploring Verdansk and Caldera.

For several months, whispers have circulated regarding a possible map for Call of Duty: Warzone named Avalon. Although Activision hasn’t officially verified this, gamers are speculating that hints of the supposed map might be noticeable during gameplay in Black Ops 6.

Avalon is a massive map that was released with some debate, featuring numerous islands divided by vast bodies of water, which resembles the style of Caldera 2.0. Players are now finding out that they can view a detailed depiction of this map using Black Ops 6’s observer mode.

In Black Ops 6’s Lowtown map, players are entering private matches and employing the Codcaster feature, which allows them to depart the playable area and scout locations outside the usual boundaries. This exploration unveils that Lowtown is merely a segment of an expansive Warzone-like map. Portions of this extensive map consist of familiar multiplayer maps from past Black Ops titles like Firing Range, WMD, and Hacienda. Additionally, it offers a glimpse into Avalon’s island cluster as previously teased by leaks.

According to CharlieIntel’s report, a dedicated fan took the initiative to design an imaginative overhead map complete with labeled points of interest.

The map for Warzone, expected to release in Fall 2025 and currently under rumors, can be previewed by spectating in Theater Mode within Black Ops 6.

It’s quite possible that this could be the leaked Avalon map for Warzone, but there’s no definite timeline as to when or if it will actually appear within the game. In Season 1 of Black Ops 6, a new Area 99 Resurgence map is being introduced, and it seems that Urzikstan will continue serving as the primary large-scale battlefield until the much-anticipated Verdansk map makes its comeback in Spring 2025.

It’s feasible that Avalon may make an appearance following Verdansk, yet there’s also a chance that the developers have abandoned the original design for this map.

Starting November 14th, you can dive into Season 1 of Black Ops 6. This major overhaul will merge the game’s innovative omnimovement with Warzone, along with introducing a fresh challenge in mastering new camouflage rewards and reintroducing the iconic Prestige system.
