The podcast XboxEra first revealed the date of this announcement. This information was also supported by leaker eXtas1s. Insider-Gaming additionally confirmed the date. Given that Microsoft typically makes Game Pass announcements on Tuesdays, if this news is accurate, we could find out soon.
The latest addition to the Call of Duty series is Modern Warfare III, released in November 2023. This marks the first time a Call of Duty title becomes available on Game Pass following Microsoft’s purchase of Activision Blizzard in the same year.

Beyond August, the Black Ops 6 beta is scheduled to start, preceding the game’s availability towards the end of October. Upon release, Black Ops 6 will be accessible on Game Pass immediately; however, this perk is only extended to the more expensive subscription tiers. The standard edition of Game Pass users will not receive Black Ops 6 at launch.
